 The Keller Networking Breakfast is no longer. Thanks to all who have attended over the years and all the very best of luck in your businesses. I am really proud of what the Keller has done for people over the past 4 years and what people have done for each other. The future might see a reunion for us all to catch up.
Networking here will be different from now on- there are plenty of groups around for you to experience, so find what suits you but remember do not join until you know it is right for you. Every group will be after your hard earned money so be cautious where you spend it. Any good group will allow you attend free of charge for a couple of events - if it is right for you, and you are making good contacts or getting the right sort of support - then join. Take your time, do not rush into any quick decisions.

As partner of Ladies Who Latte, I was very privileged to fly to Northern Ireland and introduce the networking event in my home town. I met 3 fab ladies who are willing to support this and try to get their own groups up and running. The fabulous Roslyn Bell who also runs Chester Ladies Who Latte will be the king pin for Ireland.
Ladies Who Latte is a membership group costing £29.99 for a year’s membership. Attending events are free of charge. By joining the group, it strengthens the reputation of Ladies Who Latte and helps us all to become a force to be reckoned with.
Maidenhead Ladies Who Latte, my own group, moved to a new venue but still needs to attract its old audience back. The Thames Hotel, by the river in Maidenhead is our monthly meeting on the last Wednesday of each month 9.30am - 11.30am. No need to book just turn up and free parking behind the hotel.
SHEplc is looking at doing something different. This year I will be at Danesfield House Hotel, the 2nd Tuesday in the month. Champagne Welcome and afternoon tea, with a 10 minute Spotlight speaker on a variety of inspirational topics. Booking is essential for this event so visit the Events page on: www.sheplc.com
SHEplc is not a sexist group, it exists to help women in business gain confidence and support. Many women are put off with a room full of suits. Perhaps their business is not akin to a man's world in the first place. Also many get the feeling they are not being taken seriously. Sheplc gives ladies the time to build their confidence in a safe and respected environment, until they are ready to leave the nest and be the fabulous business women they want and deserve to be.
FSB – East Berkshire Branch
I am the Vice Chairman of this branch and have seem massive changes during that time. Networking events are arranged and cancelled – which would not have happened 4 years ago – sign of our times and business owners being very careful where they spend their money. In an effort to offer networking to our members we arranged to join with a number of other networking groups to form a Business Club for our members to attend. We haven’t got this quite right yet but we can be found at The Curry Club in Wokingham. Bracknell Business Club at The Bull public house in the High Street. Windsor Community Networking at Bar 1 which used to be the old Ha Ha Bar. We really need to find a good venue in Slough but struggling – so if anyone has any suggestions we would love to hear from you.
I am looking forward to a number of speaking engagements this year. I am working with the Heathrow Supply Chain delivering 3 workshops. Hopefully will be back to join Sue Ryder's Women of Achievement this year. Wycombe Business Expo and Bracknell Business Expos both popular and well attended events. So anything else comes up I will add it here.
