At Sue Ryder Care, we care for people who are seriously ill, helping them to get the best from life. Our specialist care helps people living with Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and Brain Injury. In the UK, approximately 11 million people are affected by these complex conditions and 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer at some stage in their lives. Our goal is to help those who currently do not receive appropriate specialist care by increasing the number of hours of care we can provide each year in the UK from 4 million to 10 million.
Our approach considers every aspect of an individual’s wellbeing by listening to and supporting their choices. We put back the dignity, independence and confidence that the disease takes away, enriching people’s lives and those of their families. We provide care in peoples homes, in the community and in our care centres and hospices.
