Mary spent 3 years on The Henry Kelly show as a newspaper reviewer. BBC Berkshire decided on a change to the programme formats and no longer do paper reveiws in the same way. Mary has since appeared a number of times on a Sunday morning with the lovely Debbie McGee and more recently with Anne Diamond as a panel member to discuss items in the news, on the Saturday programme.
In the past Mary has been a Game Bird on Nicki Whiteman's programme and chatted to many of the other presenters on outside broadcasts, such as Andrew Peach, in her capacity as Chairman of FSB East Berkshire Branch.
There has been many opportunities for other business people to appear on a variety of programmes via Mary's recommendations, or when the station is looking for an expert in a particular field. Mary has appeared on BBC South, Meridian TV, Radio 4, Radio 5 and Women’s Hour, representing the views of business, SKY Lunchtime News speaking out about prejudice against young mothers in the workplace.
