I am a Business Connector,Match-maker and Advisor on aspects of business. If you need to make good contacts, build your business or meet like minded people I am the person you need to meet. I have been working in the Thames Valley for nearly 20 years and have had the pleasure of meeting many people through my networking events and my previous employment. I also have some fantastic contacts scattered around the world - so try me and see if I can help. This is my business now and I do charge, but it won't break your bank and save you money in the end. The first half hour is free, and if I can't help you, I will say so, and not waste your time or mine. It costs nothing to find out, so drop me an email or call me - my contact details are below.

MARY'S BIO: From the day she was rejected by the BBC because it didn’t employ women as receptionists. That was Ireland back in the 60's and receptions were manned by security men - definitely no women. Mary Flavelle has been turning hurdles into opportunities, leading to her being named Ambassador for Women at SEEDA.
After a lengthy career in netball as player and coach, marketing trophy products to the local business and sporting community led to radio and TV appearances. Mary landed a job at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. Head-hunted by South East Economic Development Association (SEEDA), she was seconded to Enterprise Gateway in Reading, and then nominated for the Ambassador award for the South East. ‘It’s not qualifications, you know, it’s being in the right place at the right time, and taking opportunities,' says Mary.
Mary’s business is networking in all forms, she has strong links with The High Commissioner of Malaysia, and she has been a Director with OMEC - Malaysian Executive Council. She has continued her interest in local business breakfasts with the Keller Breakfast at the Coppid Beech Hotel, Bracknell. Her skills as an events organiser have led to her appointment as Chairman of the East Berkshire branch of Federation of Small Businesses, now VIce Chair after serving 3 years on committee as the Chairman.
It’s her passion to support women in business, which led to her appointment as Ambassador for Women, and has now given her the opportunity “to encourage young entrepreneurs, to mentor and to keep the government aware of the needs of women at work. Mary is Berkshire Head Judge for the Young Enterprise scheme and proud to be associated with it. More recently was invited to be Judge at the inaugural LLoyds TSB Enterprise Awards for London and South East. Mary was also the guest speaker at the event.
Whilst at the Chamber, she launched the women’s network SHE plc, and partners Sharon Connelly with Ladies who Latte. Mary has also stayed connected with radio, having been on Woman's Hour, Radio 4, Radio 5 and Marlow FM, a regular visitor to Radio Berkshire appearing a number of times with Ann Diamond and Debbie McGee. Mary also spent 3 years with Henry Kelly as his weekly newspaper reviewer. Now Mary presents her own programme twice monthly on Marlow FM on Mid Morning Matters. If you don't live in the Marlow area- listen on line. www.marlowfm.co.uk
Now Mary has turned her skills to mentoring and connecting. As a business connector, the service is personal and professional. Good contacts are hard to find to fast-track your way to a great contact by getting in touch with Mary for a consultation.
