Networking is an Art form
I have really enjoyed coming back to it and watching so many of you improve your one minute presentations, build relationships and just enjoy yourselves whilst you are doing it.
At the bottom of all success though lies passion and enthusiasm. If you have both of these ingredients, you will go a long way.
If you had attended all the breakfasts meetings at The Coppid Beech Hotel since May, you would have had 175 marketing opportunities - what have you made of this opportunity?? I would dare to suggest - very little. Networking is great - follow up is better.
Hand on heart - how many of you contacted the people you met the next day, or a couple of days later. Some will certainly, but most won't. My tip this month is after any networking event you attend - put it in your diary to follow up next day. If it isn't written down - you won't do it.
